3rd Annual Thanksgiving Feast

We are back at it for our community. Destined For Greatness Foundation (DFG) and the Community Board Athletic Leadership League (CBALL), are putting together our annual Thanksgiving feast for the community. A few noble causes are coming together to do and not only talk. DFG's goal is to connect Bronx residents with resources and education that will help empower the community and CBALL seeks to create a stronger sense of community starting with children.

Last year we fed over 300 people, mostly children. It was unfortunate that we ran out of turkeys and food last year and had to turn some families away. However, with your help I think we can reach those individuals this year. We are asking for your help in the form of a donation. Any donation will help towards our goal. Our goal is to feed as many children as possible this Thanksgiving holiday. To do this, we would like to raise $1500 by 11/17/17. The donation will cover food, utensils, and music. Ruben Diaz Jr, the Bronx borough president with the help of fresh direct, will provide turkeys for children to take home. Please know the smallest of donations will make a big difference to those who do not have.

Thank you to all those who will contribute this year. Thank you to all those who will share this message. Finally, thank you to all those that thought about donating, but do not have the means.
