3rd Annual Homeless Care Package Campaign

As you may know, local government has tried to clean up and address the homeless issue that we have throughout Louisville. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, the health, wellness, and safety of the homeless has further been neglected. Although efforts have been sincere, this segment of people still need assistance with basic necessities for the upcoming winter. Last year, we were able to raise $650 to provide 100 care packages for men and women throughout Louisville, with items such as snacks, socks, gloves, shaving items, etc. This year I plan to raise $700 and donate 100% of the proceeds to Hip Hop Cares of Louisville which is a local organization that has completed over 200 consecutive weeks of community outreach by supplying meals and supplies for the homeless. If I can facilitate making a difference in one person’s life, I believe I would have completed my purpose. The seeds you plant today may bear fruit for many seasons to come. I hope with the seeds you help provide, will bear many seasons of fruit for people who are less fortunate than ourselves.

I plan make a donation directly to Hip Hop Cares the week of December 5th, right before the holidays. If you are unable to donate, you can also volunteer for with Hip Hop Cares' weekly outreach campaign.
