3rd Annual Back[packs] to School Charity
Donation protected
For the third time in as many years, I'm working towards gathering school equipment for underprivileged kids in at-risk areas.
The educational materials will be delivered to my alma mater, Zela Davis Elementary school in Hawthorne and Tibby Elementary School in Compton. Upon delivery, children will receive—backpacks, binders, paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, colored pencils, sharpener, highlighters, pencil case, hand sanitizer and more.
Also, it's an important reminder that roughly 94% of public-school teachers in America reported having to spend their own money on teaching supplies. So, if the goal is met, all excess funds will be used to gather supplies for teachers.
If you would like to help but cannot assist financially, that is perfectly fine. There is a litany of additional ways you can lend a hand—share on socials, word of mouth, volunteer to help to put bags together or help with the delivery. All forms of support are welcomed and appreciated.
Donations will remain open until Aug. 1st
Thank you for your help and support. I appreciate it; I'm sure the kids will too.
