3rd World - Below the Poverty Line
Hello my name is Kai Parmar,
Thank you very much for visiting my funding page.
A little bit more about me and my quest to make a difference.
I have been fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to take on a life changing experience. The expedition which I have signed up for, is a four week journey to Costa Rica and Nicaragua in the summer of 2019. During this time, I will be working with the Camps International Team, embarking on environmental and educational activities to support the local communities.
Both of these countries have a large proportion of families living below the poverty line, suffering from the lack of fundamental basics; food, clean water, shelter and sanitation. My objective from this mission, is to gain a first-hand understanding of life in in the third world for those less fortunate; the goal will be to document, record and communicate this back to the world.
During these 4 weeks, I will be working on reforestation, improving sanitation, creating access to clean water and helping to build / restore schools and nurseries, enabling a safer environment for all.
This project is 100% self-funding and the target to raise is a monumental total of £4140. I am therefore humbly reaching out to you for your sponsorship. In doing so I would like to share with you my commitment towards this project.
I will be taking on a number of endurance events, demonstrating my grit and determination towards this fundraiser, the highlight will be swimming the length of the English Channel in one day at my school pool, a distance of 21 miles. I will also be hiking a total of 4140 metres and will be working as a team with other candidates to raise funds through local projects.
I feel this opportunity will create a substantial foundation for my future and character, creating a broader understanding of poverty and family life in a third world country.
Any additional funds raised will be donated to the local Costa Rican / Nicaraguan charities, aligned with this project.

Should you choose to provide any form of funding, I hereby give you my heartfelt word that I will not let you down.
Thank you very much, for your time and support.
