Help the NYIT VEXU Robotics Team get to VEX Worlds in Louisville, Kentucky, USA from April 25-28, 2018!
VEX Worlds is the culminating event of the VEX Robotics season where thousands of students from around the globe gather for 4 days of intense competition! A new design challenge is presented every year and teams design, build, program and drive these robots for competition. Our most important philosophy is giving back and being involved in our community. Our members give presentations about STEAM and attend STEAM showcases with elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools to encourage interest and participation. We also mentor local high school and middle school teams, as well as international teams in robotics.
Each year for the past 8 years, team NYIT has qualified and competed at VEX Worlds. Every year, we bring home Awards, such as:
- 2012 - Sportsmanship Award
- 2015 - Build Award
- 2016 - World Championship in Robot Skills & Amaze Award
- 2017 - Community Award
And this year, for the first in forever, NYIT qualified and registered 3 unique teams for VEX Worlds.
Robotics is our passion, and every day we work to be the best we can be, and we never forget to have fun. We were officially invited as of March 13, 2018.
Please help our travel to VEX Worlds from New York with all of our robots and supplies, and show the world what the USA and New York can do in Robotics!
