Nicole's Medical Fund

As you know from Nicole’s recent post, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and goes into surgery tomorrow (Friday). I created this private group as I wanted to find a way to help out Nicole & Jerrid without them saying “No” to any offer from anyone who truly wants to help. Both Nicole and Jerrid have a heart of gold and would give the shirt off their backs to help anyone out. If shoes were reversed, we all know, they would be doing this for many others. Most of us know that the burden of a diagnosis of this nature can cause extra stress in a time not needed. While cancer is out of our control, I know many people always want to help in a time of need like this and one can only get so much food! I thought this would be an easy way many of us could help them out without having to coordinate a benefit event and easy to pass along to people who do not live here.
With all that said, I created a GoFundMe page to collect donations to help with any medical bills, go do something fun as a family or whatever is needed. The important thing will be for them to focus on recovery but also enjoy time as a family.
While Nicole's army will continue to pray for her and her family, hopefully we can collect a little to lessen a little bit of the stress.
Some like to donate anonymous and others not. Both are options on GoFundMe. Once we have collected ½ our goal, my thought is to let Nicole know as she will have to log in to withdrawal into her personal account as she has to set that up. She can then see all those who donate, your personal message, etc. If you want to donate anonymous, you will have that option at time of donation.
If you know of someone (as I am sure I have missed someone closeL), please add them or send me a message and I will add to the group. For those not on Facebook that you know may want to donate, you can message me and I will send you my email/phone.
I know it’s often hard to accept from others but this is a time of giving for a great family. I know Nicole and Jerrid will both be truly grateful. I understand if you cannot give so please keep the army of prayers for #TeamNicole #KickCancersAss!
