Myself, my brother and sister in law have decided to raise some money for the Pink ladies. A few years ago our beautiful mum got the devastating news she had breast cancer, this was so difficult to hear as mum had lost her amazing sister Rosaleen to this heart breaking disease, and her other sister Anne had recently and thankfully beat breast Cancer.
And after some radiotherapy so did our magnificent mother.
Unfortunately we found out a few months ago it has returned and this time mum needs to undergo Chemo therapy.
During these last few years mum has got some amazing support from The Pink ladies, a group of local women who have survived cancer themselves and have helped each other through the darkest if days. Not only that , but each year they fundraise to give back to the Antrim Area hospital team that have kept these ladies strong and positive. So want to do what we can to say Thank you and to do that we are all going Sober the rest of October xx
