The Doering Fildes Passion Project

Dear potential donor,
We are two young musicians pursuing our Passion Project in contemporary music. After performing this recital in Paris, France just last month, we are eager to bring this program to the United States with concerts in both Garden City on August 20th and Kansas City on August 22nd.
Our recital is based on four generations of composers stemming from the Nadia Boulanger tradition - music that is rarely heard in the United States. While in Paris, we performed the world premiere of Benjamin C. S. Boyle's "Guinevere" and we are looking forward to the U.S. premiere being performed in Kristen's hometown and alma mater.
Since this is a "passion" project, we are in need of financial support to make these concerts happen. All contributions will help to cover costs of the venue(s), travel expenses, and instrumental maintenance. We are incredibly appreciative of any support you can provide for this pivotal performance.
We love music and we want to share what we do with you and your beautiful community. These musical stories need to be shared with the world and we hope that you will help us start by bringing them to Kansas.
