Transplanting Chandler
Donation protected
Chandler Rogers is a 16 year old junior at Dutchtown High School and is the son of Becky (Hull) and Leigh Rogers.
On July 5, 2012, Chandler was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome due to FSGS. Nephrotic Syndrome is a kidney disease that causes the kidneys to filter protein and red blood cells out of the blood stream. Doctors have tried the typical medicines (pills, injections, IVs, and a new treatment called Lipid Apheresis) to treat Chandler; unfortunately, he has not responded to any of these treatments and now requires a kidney transplant. Chandler's father, Leigh, will be donating one of his kidneys to Chandler. Chandler and Leigh have both been accepted into the Transplant Program at A.I. Dupont Hospital and will be traveling to Delaware for the transplant procedure and recovery.
All proceeds will go directly to the Rogers family to lessen the financial burden of the kidney transplant. Please pray for Chandler, Becky & Leigh as they continue on this journey. Thank you so much for your support.
