Fernando Antonio Escobar

In 2015 I was diagnosed with Leukemia, at the time i was 18 years old working a summer job before going off to college and suddenly my life was turned upside down by something that was out of my control. I’m now 23, in remission but still battling the side effects of 4 years of very aggressive chemotherapy. It has been a battle that has taken its toll on me physically, mentally and most of all financially. Every day I work hard to move on with my life and try to get back everything that was taken away from me and unfortunately it proves to be an even harder battle than the one I faced fighting for my life. I’m coming to my friends and family to help me raise money to chip away at my medical bills so that my insurance doesn’t take away my benefits that I still need since I still see doctors regularly and take medicine daily that helps me stay healthy so I can continue to work towards a better future so I can leave all this hardship behind one day.
