Team Ronald McDonald House - Tokyo Marathon 2023
My name is Jason Martuscello, and I'll be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the 2023 Tokyo Marathon! This marathon will be my fifth major marathon and my first time fundraising with RMHC to help keep families together!
In 2019, I decided to run my first marathon, the New York City Marathon. I set a goal for running under 3 hours and crossed the finish running a 2:54. My thoughts on what is possible with running have entirely changed. Running the marathon distance has become a metaphor for life for me. The planning and discipline to prepare, the ability to see the big picture, the teamwork, and camaraderie, and the persistence to keep going when things fall apart. I am enormously grateful for the lessons learned from putting one in front of the other.
Goal: Run all six majors (NYC, Boston, Chicago, Berlin, London, Tokyo) in under 3 hours by age 35.
- New York City: 2:54
- Berlin: 2:49
- Boston: 2:46
- London: 2:45
- Tokyo: 2023
- Chicago: TBD
Did you know RMHC helps millions of families each year? RMHC helps families cope better and focus on their sick child's needs. This organization allows parents to spend more time with their child, interact with their doctors, and make important decisions about their child’s care.
