UPDATE: I am now employed and thanks to your donations we have been able to pay off our back rent. Thank you to everyone who donated, visited this page, shared our story, and kept us in your thoughts and prayers. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends in our lives.
I have recently lost my job and can no longer afford to live in Dayton. My wife and I can move back to live with family in Florida, but we currently have no money to do so. We estimate that it would cost approximately $3000 to rent a Uhaul, drive home, and settle in our new place. We also owe back rent to our current landlord of approximately $2000, excluding any damages that may have occurred to the property during our long stay.
