2013 Guatemala Medical Mission Trip

Again the Lord has called on us. For the eighth time, students and faculty from La Sierra University's Pre-Medical Society will be heading to Central America for a Medical Mission trip, during winter break of 2013. During this time, students will be setting up two medical clinics, as well as a dental clinic in rural parts of Guatemala, to give aid to those who can not afford it.
Students will also be visiting and giving aid to an Aids Hospice and reconstruct buildings, chicken coops, homes, etc. Throughout our time there, students will be assembling and distributing hundreds of pounds of Beans, Rice, and Nutritional food packets. Also, a health clinic as well as many other activities will take place.
Our Goal is to improve the lives of many Men, Women, and Children who were badly effected by the Civil war that ran from 1960-1996. Because of this war many are still in extreme poverty conditions.
Help us better not just the lives, but the futures of these beautiful people. They need our help now.
