Help Goblin Walk

Goblin Needs Help!
Goblin needs back surgery to fix an obstruction to her spinal cord that will eventually take away her ability to feel her legs, leaving her completely paralyzed. She loves walking, and we love her. That's why we need your help.

What happened? Is she ok?
A while back Steve noticed that Goblin was walking a little more clumsily than usual. Her back leg dragged, and she wasn't turning right anymore. He took her to the vet and they said it was neurological. She needed an MRI to know for sure what was happening inside her little pug body.

Two hours in an MRI tube and one overnight stay at the vet hospital later and the doctor said that little Goblin has a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid that's putting pressure on her spinal cord. This is causing her spinal cord to have trouble sending signals to her body from the chest down. Without surgery it will keep getting worse. Goblin will lose feeling in her back legs, then the front, and then she'll never be able to walk again.

How can I Help? I love Goblin!
The only thing that stands a chance of stopping the progression of this chronic problem is an operation to relieve the pressure, and the sooner this happens the better. We've already spent our entire savings on the vet bills so far, and donations will help offset the cost of the vet bills to come. Donate just out of the goodness of your heart, or pick a gift level and get something other than simple gratitude for your kindness.

Please help. She's a wonderful little dog. Everyone who meets her says so. She loves to cuddle, she gets really into it when she's barking at horses on the television, and she looks like a roasted chicken when she sleeps on her back at night. Even if you don't know her, she brings a lot of happiness to our lives and we need her to be with us for a lot longer than this.

(Please help Goblin have more Christmases like this one.)
