Jeffs recovery

Normally im not much to ask for help, but ive never came into a situation this necessary. My dad, Jeff Albert, was in an accident on Friday July 7th. During work a soil packer tipped on top of him crushing him. A co-worker had to use a back hoe to lift the soil packer to free him. He was immediately life flighted from the scene to Nebraska Medical Center where he battled to keep his life on the way there. They were able to stabalize him after arriving. Then after the doctors were able to explain the injuries that they had found so far. Both femurs are broken. The right femur broken in a very serious spot below the socket. There was a compound fracture on his left fibia and also crushed his right fibia. His pelivis is crushed- front and back. All ribs on the left side are broken and his left lung is punctured. That same evening they found an annuraism is his torso. They did a 4-5 hour surgery on fixing that and was successful. As of right now the doctors are trying to just keep him sedated and comfortable to rest. That way in the next few days they can get a plan to permanently fix his injuries. The doctors have already alerted us that it will be a very very long recovery. Maybe 12-18 months. My hopes in making this account would be to help pay for extra medical expenses and so our family can help keep up on his house bills so he can eventually return home. Any and all prayers... we are so greatful for. I just hope my dad will be slightly up and going to see and hold his first grandbaby thats due in September.
