It is a pleasure to share with you that I have been accepted by International Volunteering HQ to participate in an amazing volunteer project! This November I will have the opportunity to spend 3 weeks in the surrounding jungles of Cusco, Peru helping to conserve their native ecosystem by restoring indigenous medicinal and food-producing plants. Additionally, I will be working in an ecological reserve assisting in the care and observation of wildlife and teaching children in local schools. While local transportation, accommodations, and meals are included as part of the assignment, there remain several costs required of each volunteer to cover registration, airfare, travel insurance, and incidentals. While I plan on contributing my own money toward this volunteer project, I reach out to you for your help and support in the form of a kind donation which will greatly assist in facilitating these arrangements and reducing the total burden of these costs. The amount of your sponsorship is completely flexible. Please know that any and all help is greatly appreciated!
