Jessica Rodrigue Eschete

I created this site to try to help my best friend Jessica, with her medical expenses and everyday expenses. I have known her since we were little girls and always looked up to her, life took us separate ways for many years and then brought us back together in March of 2008. Since then she has become not only my Sister in law but my best friend and the god mother to my youngest child. Jessica is married to Nick Eschete and she has one child Blayne Barras. She and Nick married in March of 2011 and is hoping to have a child together. Jessica was a Special Education teacher in Terrebonne Parish, she loves giving children that need a little extra attention that they need to succeed in school.
Jessica was diagnosed with Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension on August 23, 2012. This illness causes blood clots in her lungs that can only be removed by surgery, these clots cause her to have major problem breathing and makes her heart work a lot harder than it should. Jessica is on oxygen 24 hours a day and has a port in her chest to administer her medications directly into her blood stream. She is scheduled to go to California in August to see IF she is a candidate for a vary rare surgery to remove these clots, if she is not a candidate her only other option is to have a lung transplant because the medications are no longer working. Since being diagnosed she has had to resign from her teaching position and give up on having anymore children until she beats this illness. Her illness has limited her ability to do normal day to day things like drive her child to school, tend to the home, and even do light grocery shopping. I am hoping to raise money to help her with her loss of income and also to help her get to California for this surgery to turn her life around! Prayers are Very Much Welcome!!!
