Kangaroo Island is well known for its thriving koala population however over 150,000 hectares has been lost due to recent events, this will effect our koala population dramatically. We need to pull together to save this Australian icon - https://kangarooislandwildlifepark.com/
Watching the place on fire is devastating, it will take generations to recover. Donating an artwork seems so insignificant to the size of the issue but I am hoping every bit of help will make a difference.
So please make a small donation. All donors will be entered into a draw to win the original piece of artwork in the video below.
I was born in Australia. My parents and extended family emigrated in the seventies, making me a ten pound Pom. I was born in Adelaide along with my two brothers. My parents stayed 13 years and moved back to England when I was aged four, a decision they often say they regret. When I finished University I returned to Oz to find my routes and explore this beautiful country. I met my wife, who was also backpacking on Bondi Beach. Her visa soon expired and we decided to stay, making eastern suburbs of Sydney our home for the next for seven years . My brothers joined us and never left, my youngest lives in Sydney my oldest in Wollongong. I have many amazing and unforgettable memories of Oz.
It’s a country that’s very close to my heart.
