Hi Folks,
Being diagnosed and going through the process of being diagnosed with cancer has taken a toll on me. I will be starting chemotherapy in a few days. Travel expenses to Wausau and back, 120 mile trip, not knowing how often I will need to go, how long I will miss work.
Naturally, I am scared. Of course I had to get this kind and it's FAST.
I have small cell lung cancer;Small cell lung cancer is also called oat cell cancer. About 10%-15% of lung cancers are small cell lung cancers. This type of lung cancer tends to spread quickly.
I'm not saying I need $5,000 but this site asks for a dollar amount. I just need whatever you're willing to give. I do have insurance, but not 100% coverage. Missing work and my overtime is killer already. I was never in a position to save anything with house bills, living expenses...check to check, as most people now days. I don't want to "beg" and it's hard for me to ask for help. This is the help I need right now. I don't know what's coming around the corner. I could be in for a very long ride. I appreciate all the outpouring of words, advice and support. You are all so marvelous! I can't believe how people are reaching out! I'm awe stuck, stupified. I just didn't know how so many cared. It's great to have the support I do and I cannot express how it feels inside. When life throws me curves, I'm usually used to it....but this curve, as I thought I could shrug it off... I'm not ready to call it quits. I may not feel I've achieved much in life, I've commited sins. I want to be right with God and I have a lot left on my list of "Things to do".
