This page is for a friend and an extreme animal lover, Jared Penttinen.
Jared had one dog and adopted 2 dogs in dire need. Riley and his sister, Piper were abandoned as pups. They were malnourished and in pretty poor shape. Jared took them in, nursed them back to health and took the best care of them. I've never known a pet owner to do so much for his pups, he is a true inspiration. On July 18th a neighbor shot and killed Riley. Riley had gotten loose while Jared was at work, this wasn't typical of him, and the neighbor saw him as a threat, even though he was not. I've created this page to help with the expenses of a veterinary autopsy and legal fees for Jared to fight for justice for Riley and hopefully make a difference for all animals.
