Mission Work in Tanzania

Three years ago God placed a yearning in my heart to serve His people in Africa. After much prayer and waiting and more prayer, I have been so incredibly and uniquely blessed with the opportunity to go and serve at the Neema House in Arusha, Tanzania from October until January of this year. At the Neema house are 27 precious babies that need lots of loving! During my time in Tanzania I will be taking care of and loving the babies at the Neema House, and using photography to raise awareness of the needs in Tanzania, and more specifically at the Neema House. All of the babies at the Neema House are either orphans or have families that cannot afford feeding them and would not have anywhere else to go if not for the work that is happing at the Neema House.The babies need bottles in the mornings and periodically throughout the day, and I will take great joy in feeding, changing, and playing with all of them. Most of all, I will have the opportunity to tell those in Arusha about our LORD, and share the love of Jesus. Please join me in praying for these precious babies, and for those that work with them in Tanzania. I also ask that you pray specifically for the country of Tanzania where there is poverty and disease everywhere. Please also join me in prayer that the babies that are growing up at the Neema House will be healthy and happy and know Jesus as Lord. I wholeheartedly believe that Arusha is where God wants me to be this fall, with that being said I need to raise $5,000 for my trip. I am taking the opportunity to serve in Tanzania very seriously and not just as a way for me to give back what God has been giving me and to personally learn and grow, but also to see if this is potentially something I would want to do in the future, once my degree is completed. I have been prayerful about this, and I believe that the money will come. What I am asking from you first is to pray for this opportunity. I am humbled and excited to think of all the people who are praying for this chance for me, in many different places, some of whom I have never met.
