Reagan's Birth Fund

We are blessed to be expecting our 3rd child, Reagan, this November! As self-employed people we buy our own health insurance, and due to the rising cost of it we had to drop maternity coverage. So Reagan's birth is 100% out of pocket for us.

The good news is that The Christ Hospital offers a birth clinic for people in our shoes, and the birth will cost $2,500 for a normal delivery or $2,900 for a C-section delivery.


So this funding effort is aimed at helping us raise the $2,500 we need to have the birth paid in full before she's born.


Why?

In past times of financial abundance we got a lot of joy out helping people in need. Be it anonymously paying rent, buying Christmas gifts, helping with an adoption "“ helping others brings joy.


Yet we have a lot of pride about Reagan's birth costs, and did not want to ask for help:at all. But we've been reminded that by not asking for help, we are stealing someone's joy. So we're asking for help.


Lastly:


Since Reagan is a third child for us, we are mostly set up with "baby stuff." So this is also a way for anyone who wants to give Reagan a baby gift to help pay for her actual birth!
