My name is Vanessa, a current graduating senior student at CSUN, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology.
I currently work at the International & Exchange Student Center at CSUN as a SPICE panelist (Student Panels for an International Curriculum and Education). This job currently helps me pay for some living expenses.
In the last year I've been going through some tough financial difficulties especially after going through a health problem that cost me all my college savings. To graduate, I have to take one last class during summer that costs $1,968; I simply don't have this money nor have any help to pay for it, so I had to use my only option of asking some helpful people to support me take this class and graduate.
After graduation and getting a job in my field, I plan on giving back to people in need and especially students going through financial difficulties, as I know and I've experience how challenging and stressful this can be on one's daily performance.
I appreciate any help — any amount will help me a lot!
