Curry In Cannes: The Internship!!

Hey, Hey, Hey there. For those of you who don't know me, My name is Michael Curry. I am a Sophomore Theater major and Chinese Studies minor from Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania. I was recently accepted into the Creative Minds in Cannes 2014 Summer film program. The program presents me with the opportunity to attend the Cannes Film Festival in France for three weeks (May 12 - May 26) to work a full internship with an organization while making a short film and networking with professionals in the entertainment industry.

My ultimate goal in life is to be an actor. Starring in films and also on the stage, but as i have been studying in college and taken on new artistic endeavors my goals have expanded. I want to open my own studio someday being able to produce, create, and star in my own films while allowing the dreams of others to be brought to fruition as well. Being able to attend this program will be a big step on the path towards reaching my goals by placing me amidst all the important people in the business today.


So, Heres where you step in! (Yay!). The program costs $3,000 to attend and it has to be paid in full by the end of February (The 28th, no leap year). I'm asking for donations to go towards the program costs, any amount would be a big help in helping me reach my goal.
