Omar's Medical Expenses

Omar was severely injured in a car accident last Thursday while visiting friends and family in Mexicali for the Christmas break. The cause of the accident was due to road conditions that caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle that then made the vehicle overturn which also propelled Omar out of the vehicle as the seat belts were faulty and the airbags were not deployed. Luckily, Omar has survived.

Omar has undergone two surgeries since the accident and doctors have done the best that they can do for the time being. With one severe laceration to the right eye which may possibly leave him permanently blind in this eye alongside with  a broken collarbone it has become difficult for Omar to provide for himself, and for his family. The accident has not only severely damaged his ability to work and study, but have severely hurt other family members that rode in the vehicle with him. As a struggling college student and as an independent young man he is in charge of taking care of his own individual economic standing at California State University Chico all while now trying to pay as much as possible of these several medical bills that have started to rack up. Omar does not have not medical insurance and all expenses are coming out of his own pocket. Months away from his graduation I have taken it upon myself to assist him in his time of need to ask for your help.
