Save Schnitzel

Schnitzel and I had a car accident on Sunday afternoon. The car flipped three times and caught fire. Luckily we were both pulled to safety by the Milton Fire Chief. I was taken by ambulance to the trauma center and an amazing Police Officer personally rushed Schnitzel to the Emergency Vet. I was released with stitches, lacerations and contusions but Schnitzel is still in the ER with internal bleeding and a broken femur. Due to the type of break, the femur will need to be set with plates by the Orthopedic Surgeon at another facility - hopefully within the week.

Everyone who knows me knows how much this dog means to me and how difficult it is for me to ask for help. I am pleading with everyone to help offset his costs and am hoping to work with the insurance company to waive my personal injury coverage and have them pay his vet bills instead.

I pulled Schnitzel from the streets of Puerto Rico in January and flew him to New York. He's endured many medical issues over the last six months and has proven time and time again that he is a fighter. I know he can beat this as well.
