Why We Walk – Why We Give

The statistics are staggering and personal:

49,069 lives lost to suicide in the U.S. in 2025 — more than deaths from breast cancer.

Deaths by suicide reached an all-time record high in 2025 (again).

12.8 million people seriously considered suicide last year.

1 in 5 high school students and 1 in 10 college students have considered suicide.

1 in 3 people will face a diagnosable mental health condition in their lifetime.

This crisis touches all of us. It’s time to #ChangeTheConversation and break the silence around mental health.

Donate to the Stephanie Becker Fund:

No donation is too small. Every dollar helps us save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

Your donation supports the Stephanie Becker Fund, which advances our mission to promote mental and physical health parity. The fund is managed by the Jewish Communal Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization -- your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
