Build LGBT Friendly House for Elders

"IMAGINE living in a building where everybody knows your name and accepts you, just as you are. VISUALIZE a place where communal living feels like home. SEE yourself in your own room with a closet, private bathroom and kitchenette. PICTURE yourself sitting on the front porch, in the rocking chairs, smelling the honeysuckles and talking with old and new friends in safe and affordable housing.

We are creating alternative, inclusive, safe and affordable housing in WDC. Help make this house a reality for LGBT folks over 60 years old. Let them be able to live in a place that honors who they are and who they were. We need 3% of the construction costs to continue the next step of the project - the building permit.
