Skoshi Touched By an Angel

Our little Skoshi Bear was born with a neurological defect that pinches her spinal cord right behind her head causing discomfort and occasional instability.

UPDATE:
Her second surgery took place on Tuesday, March 25th 2014 at North Florida Neurology. The odds were so against her that she was scheduled to be euthanazed on Friday, March 21st. We just couldn't go through with it, because she's our baby. We set all financial red flags aside and pushed through.
She not only made it through, but has done so well that she is allowed to come home on Friday, March 27th!

She underwent her first surgery on Monday, July 8th and is now slowly recovering. She requires 24/7 care at the clinic and daily visits in a hyberbaric chamber.
The surgery left her unable to walk. When a second surgery was set to fix her, her heart stopped and it was a miracle they they were able to bring her back to us.

I've always supported good causes and made many donations. I'm reaching for my lucky stars and hope that my good deeds will come back to me so that we can continue to support Skoshi's recovery.
