Child Care Fund for Brian Kenny

Earlier this year, we lost someone very special to many of us. Jeanne Marie Nolan Kenny, passed away on June 12, 2013. Jeanne was an incredibly kind, loving, and caring person whose smile lit up a room and who's heart had no boundary when it came to taking care of those she loved. Her passing has left not only a tremendous emotional void for her family, but also a financial one as well. That is why I am starting this fund raiser. My goal is to help Brian defer some of the costs associated with the caring for his four children. It is very hard to put into words what an incredible person Jeannie was so I have included an article written by her sister in law, Diane. Please read and give if possible.

JEANNEMARIE KENNY Loving mother, adored wife, treasured sister, cherished daughter, incredible aunt and loyal friend doesn't begin to describe Jeannemarie Kenny, 47 of Hobe Sound, Florida. On June 12, 2013, our darling Jeanne passed away. She was simply the picture of elegance and grace. Timeless, beautiful, loving, kind, gentle, sweet, generous, thoughtful, and patient... these are just a few things that we are going to miss, not to mention her laughter, beauty, effortless style and impeccable taste. She was our "It Girl"-our own Audrey Hepburn right here in Hobe Sound. Jeanne was born in Brooklyn, New York to Peggy and John Nolan. She spent her childhood in Amityville, New York, where she attended Amityville High School. She later went on to attend Manhattanville College where she earned her degree in Business Administration. It wasn't long after college that Jeanne met her loving husband Brian. Just like in a fairy tale, they met at a masquerade ball, where they immediately became smitten with each other. That feeling never left them; in fact, their strong adoration for each other seemed to multiply with each passing year. Jeanne's love for Brian showed in her every action, her sparkling eyes, and gentle touch. Brian mirrored that love for her in every way. Jeanne created such a special home for her children. As a mom, she fashioned a place where the kids were nourished daily on an endless supply of love, attention, encouragement, praise, music, films, dance, and laughter all seasoned with paint, paper, markers, books, storytelling, glitter, glue, and tape. Jeanne used every inch of wall space as a gallery to display the kids' beautiful creations. The secret ingredients to Jeanne's recipe were time, patience, listening, and an extra cuddle or nudge as needed. Together Jeanne and Brian provided a safe place for the children to develop their amazing gifts and soar, allowing them to become their very best selves, all the while confident that should the need arise, there would always be a soft place for the kids to land. Jeanne has excelled in her life's ambitions, and her greatest joy was realized in her starring role as wife and mother. Her spirit and grace will live on through her loving family, which includes her devoted husband Brian Kenny of Hobe Sound and her four beautiful children: the artist, writer and director Zachary, age 18; the cherished daughter and ballet dancer Grace, age 15; the creative and kind tap dancer Jack, age 11; and the joyful, energetic optimist Reginald, age 5. Among those who are going to miss Jeanne forever are her loving parents, John and Peggy Nolan of Hobe Sound, Florida as well as her five devoted siblings; Stacy Rabuse, Stephanie Folan, John Nolan, Timothy Nolan, and Patrick Nolan. Collectively, Aunt Jeanne's thirteen nieces and nephews will be indelibly touched by her tender soul. The Kenny family will continue to idolize their remarkable goddess and cherish her forever. In the words of the beautiful Jeanne, never let it be forgotten: "Keep moving forward and LOVE LOVE LOVE."
