getting kids connected to nature

I have had a dream for the past 8 years to start a school where I can teach children about wilderness survival, homesteading, and nature connection. I have decided to move to Saint Augustine, Florida in September and begin this school, but need funds to purchase tools, build structures, pay potential employees and buy livestock for my school.
This is really important work! Our school, Live Oak, will touch the lives of children of all ages and help connect them to the great outdoors and the skills of self-sufficiency that our ancestors used on a daily basis. It will teach them confidence, compassion, enthusiasm, work ethic, love for the environment, and how to learn. It will also offer them a chance to have FUN!
