Kathy's Cancer Fund

In June of this year my Mom, Kathy Wakefield, was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.  Anyone who knows my mom knows that she is always the first person to help someone out if she can, is the most caring person you can meet and has spent her life taking care of other people's families as a nurse.  Since being diagnosed she has been out of work and has had to endure radiation therapy 5 days a week for 7 weeks and chemotherapy once a week. Thankfully she is done with chemo, but she still has another month of radiation left.  After the radiation is done she will get another PET scan and start immunotherapy  therapy once every two weeks for a year.  She has family supporting her through this and we have faith that she will pull through and shine brighter than ever.  She will be out of work for at least a year and we would like her to be as comfortable as possible. She has enough on her plate and we do not want her to worry about her bills.
