Those who know me, know that I love roller derby. I am currently playing my third season with Dead Girl Derby. I've had a blast battling it out with a lot of fine ladies. However, no one challenges me more on the track than my friend Pippi Strongblocking. Unfortunately, this amazing player is currently fighting a different battle off the track after a breast cancer diagnosis.
I will be participating in a fundraiser on August 4th called "Trims for Tatas" at Pinkie Couture Salon. Haircuts are $10, and the stylists are donating their time so that the money will go towards Pippi's medical bills.
However, I would like to use this as an opportunity to raise more funds on my own as a few of our other leaguemates are doing. IF I RAISE AT LEAST $100, I WILL BE SHAVING MY HEAD in solidarity with my derby sister's fight. Will you support me in this?
