Join Luka's Fight Against Leukemia

My name is Telsea Campbell and I am Aunty and Godmother to a precious boy named Luka Volentier. My nephew Luka has just turned 2 years old and is loved dearly by his mom and dad Malaika and David Volentier, and their family and friends. Luka was taken to the pediatric emergency in Surrey by his parents on Tuesday march 14th 2017 due to his pale color and the appearance of small bruises and red spots on his legs and torso. His appetite had also been progressively deteriorating over the past few weeks. With heavy hearts the family was informed that Luka has Leukemia and they have been admitted to the Oncology Ward at BC Children's Hospital to determine the aggressiveness of his cancer and the best course of treatment. Our families are joining together to support Luka and his parents throughout the difficult journey ahead. Malaika is 20 weeks pregnant and will therefore be off work from this point forward and David will be required to take time off from his job on and off for the next few years. For this reason we are asking friends and family to join us on Lukas Fight Against Leukemia. If not financially, we ask you to join us in prayer for Lukas strength and rapid recovery.
