Backpacks for the homeless

Hi everyone! The wonderful man in the photo has a birthday coming up on September 29. Troy used to love nothing more than finding used backpacks at second hand stores and filling them with useful items to give to the homeless. As a birthday gift to him, I’m collecting backpacks made by all his friends for him to give away or money so I can make backpacks for you! In the backpacks will Be items such as beef jerky, first aid kits, scarfs, beanies, water, layering gloves, underwear, flashlights, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, etc. Any contribution helps, Ive created one backpack so far and it cost about $35-$40. Thanks so much for your consideration! Anyone who would like a photo of the bags once they are done, or photos of Troy handing them out feel free to ask!!! I think this will be very special to him.
