I have been invited to attend an International Conference by the "Tkuma" Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies & Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine". It will be June 21-25 in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. It is an opportunity for me to bring back and share with teachers, students and groups.
I am a high school teacher at private Christian school. This is my 4th year teaching our Holocaust & Genocide Studies course for high school students. The curriculum for this year long course was developed entirely by me.
This personal travel and research enhances my teaching knowledge. My travels over the past five years have taken me to Germany, Poland, Rwanda, Cambodia, Israel and Ukraine.
My goal is to continue traveling, studying and researching this very important part of world history.
