Help build a home for my children

Hello everyone. I have created this site in hope of raising the money my family needs to reconstruct our home. This year has been anything but good to my family. In May we lost the home we have lived in for the past 14 years. When my oldest children's father and i split up we came to an agreement that my kids and i would live in the home he owns so he would not have to pay child support. At the time he was employed as a private contractor for the US government and his job required him to travel all over the world with his unit. This May he was informed that he would be laid off. He gave my 5 children, partner and i just 2 weeks to pack up our 6 bedroom home, find a new home, and move. We took every last penny we had saved up and got a home that was against my better judgement so we would not be left to stay with my boyfriends family(homeless more or less). We knew the home was small and needed work done. Little did we know the extent of damage that we would have to fix. We spent $400 just in clean up of garbage and debris that the previous family left in the home and throughout the land. After we moved in and got utilities hooked up we discovered the entire water supply had to be re-run and the toilet had to be replaced because it had froze up the past winter. We fixed that problem $700 later. We have since discovered the entire place needs weatherization including insulation, new windows, and 2 of 3 doors replaced because they will not stay shut and are rotted out. The furnace pipes needs to be re-run because there are holes in them, the roof needs to be replaced from water damage from snow and ice build up, electrical problems, floors are rotted through from water damage, mold build up in three rooms, and so much more. The work is endless. We knew we had to redo the 2 existing kids bedrooms and we had planned to add on 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Now that we have sunk every dollar we had into unseen problems we can not afford what we had planned to do and what other issues we have discovered. My kids hate it here and lash out at me due to circumstances that were out of my control. I am stressed over the whole situation and need help and support of facebook friends and their friends. Having your first home should be exciting and comforting but in our case it is just the opposite. Home is where everything starts. My oldest daughter is on honor roll for the 4th year straight and i am afraid that not having space and privacy will destroy that this school year. I am very proud of my amazing children and want a home for them to grow and blossom into great adults. Any help is tremendously appreciated and nothing is too small.
