Funding for Bone marrow transplant

We have created this page to raise funds for Prasad Srinivasan, who has been diagnosed with Acute Biphenotypic Leukemia, a rare form of blood cancer and needs a stem cell transplant to increase his chance of survival.
Prasad seen here in the picture with his wife Jasmine, is 45 , and has a 14 year old daughter. He is based in Mumbai, India.
Since his diagnosis in April 2013, he has undergone 2 chemotherapy sessions at Bombay Hospital, Marine Lines, Mumbai (Dr. M B Agarwal) and will undergo 2 more sessions over the next 2 months.
However given that this form of cancer has an extremely low response to chemo, his physicians have recommended that he undergo a stem cell transplant, which a more advanced alternative to bone marrow transplant.
The transplant will be conducted by Dr. Navin Khattry at Tata Memorial Centre, ACTREC, Navi Mumbai, India. We have been given a definite cost of INR (Indian Rupees) 50-60 lacs (~USD 100,000), and asked to budget for a total of INR 100 lacs (~USD 200,000), keeping in mind complications that typically arise in case of unrelated donor transplant.
Since his insurance in India does not cover the cost of the treatment, friends and families are rallying together to create this corpus, and we hope that you will help us.
