Kidney's for Pam 2015

Donation protected

Those of you who know and love Pam will understand why I am updating and re-posting this fundraiser for her. She is struggling now more than ever with her health and finances. Her Dad, David has been right by her side every inch of the way and is also feeling the emotional and financial strain it is taking on both of them. Pam is still waiting for a transplant and has spent an enormous amount of time in the hospital due to serious renal, diabetic, and dialysis related complications.  I think one of the hardest emotional things Pam is dealing with right now is the fact that she is no longer strong enough to work the job she loved (and took so much pride in) for so many years at Mercy Hospital. She held on as long as she possibly could. She is currently in her waiting periond for disablilty benefits and struggling in every way right now for basic needs such as gas money, car payments, heating oil, phone, food, etc. She has a hard time reaching out for help so I would like to reach out for her. This fundraiser was originally set up 2 1/2 years ago in 2013 and cashed out over 1 1/2 years ago. Though it is showing $3900.00 raised, the balance is currently $0.00. This site is convenient,  but also takes a percentage of donations collected. For those that don't feel comfortable donating on here,  her direct address is Pam Presby 156 Hill St. Biddeford, Me. 04005. Below is the original post from when this page was created.
Pam Presby is a beautiful, fun, hard working 45 year old woman that has struggled with diabetes for many years. Pam is living on a single income working in the surgical sterilization department of Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine. In December 2012, through a routine physical and blood tests Pam received a call from her Dr.'s office asking her to come to the hospital immediately. The results of her tests showed that she was in renal kidney failure and she was immediately put on dialysis 3x per week. She is awaiting her appointment with the kidney transplant team to be added to the list of patients for a kidney transplant. This has been very overwhelming for Pam as she is still so young, hard working, and a very family oriented person who has a love more for people and music than for material things.
