Wallace the pug needs cancer treatment.

This is Wallace, the famous Pug in the Tulips. You may have seen him in various memes floating around the internet. Wallace is my pug - he was born on Groundhog's Day in 2007.

Wallace has cancer. Again. This time it's a very large tumor on his right front leg. The type of tumor he has requires margins of 2cm to be considered removed - but due to the location of the tumor, the margins cannot be achieved. Post-removal the tumor will be biopsied. If it's stage 1, he may be okay. If it's stage 3 he will need his right front leg amputated.

I cannot afford another surgery as I'm still in debt from earlier surgeries (see below). ***If I cannot crowd source the money for this surgery I will have to have him euthanized.***

In the above photo Wallace was recovering from cancer surgery - Wallace had two mast-cell tumors removed. I found the first tumor when he was recovering from eye surgery (he has a partial vision loss from his eyelids rubbing on his eyes). He had his eye surgery the same day he had his dental - complete with six tooth extractions.

Wallace is also a unique little guy in that he urinates through a hole in his groin. He underwent several procedures to cure him of his bladder stones (he gets the crystalline type) but had a permanent stricture of his urethra - so things have been "redirected." He is on prescription food for the rest of his life and cannot have any treats - aside from pieces of his prescription kibble. He also has to have x-rays annually and semi-annual urinalysis to be sure we're staying on top of the crystals.

In the last two years I have put five figures on my credit card to save his life, again and again. I set up a "small" goal in comparison to his actual medical bills, just to try to help me get rid of the debt he and I have incurred. If you've ever shared this photo, liked this photo, seen it passed around, pinned it on Pinterest, or just love pugs, even a little bit will help me pay for his bills and pay for his prescription food - and help me say "yes" when he needs another surgery (and I'm sure he will).
