Hi all;
Gopal Tiwari, a postdoc in Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department, UC Davis is battling with his life in queen of the valley medical center, Napa after he had a heat stroke last weekned during a hiking trip. He was admitted in ICU and is unconscious on ventilator for last 72 hrs or even more.
He is alone here and his family members are in India and they are quite concerned about his critical condition. No one in his family except his brother has a passport and UC Davis is trying to contact US embassy in New Delhi to provide him an emergency visa in order to bring him here as soon as possible.
I am one of Gopal's close friends and trying to raise some fund (about $10000) to accomodate his family members with visa, flight ticket, accomodation, medical bills and all other required things. If you would like to donate please contact me.
