Warren's Medical Mission to Haiti

Friends! As many of you are well aware, I just entered into my second year at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. From March 12-19, I will be traveling to St. Marc, Haiti with fellow medical and dental students within the Christian Osteopathic Association and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. The country, as a whole, has a serious shortage of hospitals and doctors. Because of poor diet and medical care, the average life expectancy in Haiti is only about 50 years.
Through Global Health Outreach initiatives each year, roughly 60,000 individuals receive free medical care, 5000 individuals receive Christ, and many more hear the Gospel for the first time.
As a physician in training, I am excited to finally have an opportunity in which my love for Christ and my love for medicine can be combined and applied in a real-world patient care setting. As the Lord continues to grow my desire to serve the underpriviledged in Indianapolis, I am eager to see how my role as a future Christian physican can extend to other parts of the world.
Your donations will go toward traveling, lodging, and food for the trip. Regardless of whether or not you are able to give, I highly appreciate your prayers over me and this team as we serve the people of Haiti. I couldn't be more excited to apply some of my medical school knowledge while proclaiming the Gospel!
