In Memory of Mitchell Love

On September 9, my daughter's father and the love of my life, Mitchell Love, passed on. He was everything to our family. Mitchell was the best daddy to our baby girl London and my first and only love, as well as our protector and provider. We were high school sweethearts. I've loved him since I was 15 years old.

Mitchell worked three jobs to support our family after I couldn't work due to complications after giving birth to our daughter three months ago. My baby gave everything he had to so many people. He not only took care of me and London, but he also took care of his mom, my mother, my brothers and sisters, his cousins, aunts and uncles, our friends and so many other people. He even spent time coaching some of the basketball players at his old high school. We all loved and depended on my baby. Mitchell was the kind of man to do anything he could to help others. If there was ever anyone who needed a place to go, something to eat or anything at all, he would be the first to step in and help out. His soul was so kind, energetic, alive and giving. With him gone, the world just seems so much darker. Our family, our friends and the community have been truly devastated by the loss of my love.

Now that he is gone, we are all trying to find a way to keep going. Mitchell left everything to me and I have to stay strong and keep pushing through for our family. With our provider and head of our household gone, we need some help to get on our feet. I still have to pay rent, car payments and insurance, student loans, and other bills as well as provide for our three-month-old baby girl London. She has to go to daycare and still needs diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene products and clothes because she is growing every day.
