I'm about to take the adventure of my life...Again!
Roll back in time with me as I pedal my way on this epic 25th anniversary of my Biking America For Parkinsons Disease.
Back in 1988, from San Francisco to New York City, it was the first ever cross country cycling trip to raise awareness for Parkinsons. Back then, we were a team of four including my most ardent supporter of this trip, Pamela Cragin. This time, I'm riding solo, and bringing all of you along virtually.
A lot has happened since... Rest in peace dad, Eddie Kane, who passed from Parkinson's in 2008. My first trip was for you.
My mission for this ride is two-fold. First, I will re-connect with and thank the people who helped in the success of that trip. Second, I am taking this time to acknowledge and show my gratitude for all of the people who have contributed to my life in the last 25 years.
