Hayes Christmas Lights in Shanagolden Co.Limerick Eircode V94 Nc3f is a unique display of lights which offers a variety for young children and for the family to enjoy.We open our display to the public from Sunday the 19th of November to Saturday the 6th of January 2024 from 5pm to 9.30pm each night. Our aim is to raise as much money as we can for our 4 chosen charities:
•Milford Care Centre
•Mid-Western Cancer Foundation,
•Cliona's Foundation and
•St Gabriel's Foundation.
OUR STORY BEHIND OUR DISPLAY:
This display is in memory of a wonderful son and brother Noel (R.I.P) who was only 12 years old when he passed away with a brain tumour. It's also in memory of our father and husband Timmy Hayes (R.I.P) who started the display along with his wife Mary back 1995. Unfortunately in December 2003 Timmy passed away with cancer. The display was continued until 2007 and the decision was made to finish up. In 2017 it was once again open to the public which has grown popular each year as the display gets bigger. Its in memory of a Son and brother Noel.
The aim is to achieve as much as we can for the chosen charities. I'm sure we'd all agree that these charities do amazing work for families and people in need. Every village, town and city benefit from the work they do.
