Anders wants to stay in school!

Hello there! My name is Anders Larsson, and I'm a Swedish design student in Washington, DC. This fall, I am transferring from Northern Virginia Community College and have been accepted to attend the Corcoran College of Art + Design. I am incredibly excited to grow in my passion for art and design and to finish my BFA studies. However, I am unable to financially support the student visa I need to complete my studies due to failed sponsorships, and I am therefore looking to GoFundMe as a last resort.

I am a first generation college-student in my family and while I have their emotional support and encouragement, my family is unable to provide me with any financial support for my educational aspirations. Without the proper funds to support my student visa and course tuition, I will have to leave America and return to Sweden with an unfinished degree. I love being here, I love learning, I love creating, and I really (REALLY REALLY) hope I will be able to continue doing all this. So I am humbly asking you for help. Being an international student is hard for many reasons, but although keeping up a 4.0 GPA while working 20 hours a week are indeed difficult tasks, maintaining visa status is by far the most stressful. I need all the help I can get.
