Big Al's Tool Fund

Let me start by saying this... I've never understood stealing. It's wrong and it's gutless, but when you steal something that a person relies on to make a living, its downright pathetic. With that being said, all of Big Al's tools were stolen from his job site in Silverlake sometime between the end of the workday on Wednesday, June 26th and the start of the workday on Thursday, June 27th. He was at a meeting for a new project early Thursday morning when his crew called him to inform him of what happened. Somebody had torched his KNACK tool box and took everything.

My dad's been in the construction business since he was 16. He's worked for everything he's ever received. He climbed the ladder and started his own company in his early 20's, the same one he runs today. He doesn't advertise or do any marketing. All of his business comes from word of mouth and client referrals. That, in and of itself, is rare in the construction industry and is a prime example of his work ethic and the kind of person he is.

I've always told myself... if at some point I become half the man my dad is, I would die a happy guy. If you find it in you, please donate whatever you can. Big Al has no clue I started this and probably has no idea a website like this even exists. Let's get Big Al some new gear!
