This August I will move to Arezzo, Italy to earn my MFA in Physical Theatre at Accademia dell'Arte (ADA). "¨I am currently a professional actor/creator based in Washington D.C. and on the weekends, a growing Flamenco dancer who is picking up the guitar. I am a wig, hair, and make up technician for the University of Maryland (my alma mater) and have freelanced for several of Washington D.C's major theaters. During the day I work for a high profile international law firm in the public policy/international department. Needless to say, I am a highly-trained jack of all trades and all too excited to focus my many skills on my dream (more below) as well as acquire new skills!
My goal is to combine my talents and found an arts company dedicated solely to devised and physical theatre that speaks for disadvantaged voices. The company will develop, train, and utilize an ensemble that provides a voice for all minorities on, around, and off the stage."¨An education at ADA is necessary in turning this vision into reality. Matriculation at Accademia dell'Arte is my first step in creating this company. I would love your support as I undertake my most ambitious project to date."¨

ADA is high in both cost and reward. With the rising cost of education and increases in student loan rates, I am looking for any means that will help me offset costs and minimize debt. I am the recipient of several scholarships that have aided in paying my tuition fees, but I am still in dire need of covering living expenses. "¨Any amount is graciously accepted and appreciated. The program is 2.5 years of training in physical theatre, music, and dance. ADA is a program focused on the intensive training of the artist/creator. "¨Heavily rooted in physical theatre, ADA shapes a multi-faceted, multi-lingual artist who can operate both on stage and in business as a devisor and performer. ADA produces an autonomous creator capable of successfully designing, shaping, and running their career as well as an ensemble or company. "¨
