Help Us Adopt

Two weeks ago we got a call from our friends who had heard of a 5 year old boy in Louisiana that needed to be adopted. Two weeks ago we had no intentions of adopting, but then we got that phone call. When we heard his name, his story, his need; there was something in us that knew that he was supposed to be ours. Immediately we began to pray for him. That he would be adopted by a loving family chosen in God’s will. The next day we wrote a letter to his caregiver and as quickly as it began it was done; she had chosen us. We planned a trip to meet him and the rest is history. We loved him. The moment we met him is the moment he became our son. We feel that everything in our lives has led up to this... From starting foster care a few months ago (with no idea really why we did that other than it’s what we felt God wanted us to do) to Matt being able to work from home and be there for our family in a unique way that this little boy will need. Please pray with us. Partner with us however you feel led. It will cost roughly $15,000 to adopt this little boy. That includes the fees for a home study, the adoption agency, and the adoption completion in Florida.
