Asalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu. My dear brothers and sisters this GoFundMe page was set up in honour of our departed sister Shukri. May Allah SWT grant herJannatul-Firdous and widen her grave. Ameen.
By creating this page, we hope to raise some funds towards her Sadaqah Jariyah, any contributions that you could make would be highly appreciated.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi). He also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqah: “The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).
Good deeds are the only thing that we leave with when we depart this Dunya, so please let's help our sister through donations to create a water well in her name.
I pray to Allah (SWT) that he accepts these efforts of creating a continuous charity for our sister and has mercy on her soul. May Allah SWT reward us all for our good deeds and acts of sadaqah, and may he grant us all a place in Jannah. Ameen.
Charity does not decrease wealth, nor does it go unnoticed by Allah SWT.
